Tomorrow we met to decide who goes to the GOP Convention, who will run for the nations offices. So in the last few days I have been ask “how do you decide, who to support?” It is difficult; but it can be done. Define what is the final conclusion you are looking for. In my case I want strong constitutional individual to fill all and any vacant chairs in the Supreme Court. It is so important to go into the future knowing that the highest court has the belief that the constitution is a document that must be followed as written. I do not believe that the document is a “living document”, a document that changes based on the times. Our forefathers wrote it for their times and ours. It does not change, we do. So I look at what or who can best reach my goals. There is no one person that fill all my needs or wants; so I look for that one person that fills the most. Can I accept some disagreements. As long as that person doesn’t break my beliefs and core values. Study, research and talk to others.

For over forty years The Heritage Foundation has been the steadfast conservative think tank, researching conservative principles and policy. But who holds Congress accountable to those ideas?
Heritage Action exists to hold Congress accountable.
Our Scorecard, called “the scorecard for conservatives,” shows you how Members of Congress actually vote on the important issues.
In addition to real-time vote results, our simple Scorecard website has tools to:
- compare Members of Congress
- share scores on Facebook and Twitter
- create a personalized watchlist
Holding Congress accountable is hard and we can’t do it alone. Your Members of Congress needs to hear from you. Our Scorecard is one of key tools we provide to help you make a difference and be heard.

Just returned from our annual National Park trip. This year, an odd year, is a west of the Mississippi trip. We made Bass Lake, Ca our base camp. A small city on Hyw 41 south of Sacramento and north of Fresno. Day trips into the Yosemite valley visiting the Yosemite National Forest and Park. Beautiful scenic vistas, waterfalls and rock formations. Then an hour or so watching climber scale the face of El Capitan. In words of some a real big rock. Then a trip into the forest to see the red woods. God’s big trees the Sequoia. The world’s biggest tree, 330 plus feet tall and 25 plus feet around, lots of fire wood. 2500-4000 years since the tiny seed sprouted to life. Bought a small tree back so lets see when it reaches 20 feet.
” Yosemite’s natural beauty can be found in things big and small, from towering granite cliffs and giant sequoia to diminutives wildflowers. Varied conditions in four geographic areas–HIGH SIERRA, GRANITE CLIFFS, SEQUOIA GROVES AND VALLEY—makes such diversity possible. Explore Yosemite’s many facets, take in its many moods and enjoy its views, sounds and smells.” John Muir
Other parks in the area we visited was Kings Canyon and Death Valley. Close and easy a day trip from Bass Lake. If you haven’t been taking the time. Next year 2016 is east of the Mississippi and we are off to the Everglades.

I need to add to a past post.
quote from the Ear: “questions and letters to the editor that Mr. McDowell said he had in his effort to discredit Mr. Hudson just went out the window.” The efforts of the Chef isn’t to discredit the board president; it was to get the truth out. The citizens desire the truth. Anyone can look back at the charges made about anyone that has or had an issue with him. Charges all kinds and subjects. It had nothing to do with discrediting him it was to show Ellicotters who was on the school board. There are others still on the board. Isn’t Mr Hudson still a board member until mid Nov? It was not to discredit Mr Hudson it was to point out inconsistencies in what has been printed and his statements. EXAMPLE, Examples, examples. Discrediting the Ear; maybe; but that has been done many times, he does it himself.
quote from the Ear: Unfortunately, we believe that Jackie Chambers is not one of them! Just who is this we? Self serving!!!!!!! where does some of this current board fall, in the self-serving arena? Aren’t most people in some way self-serving? Today there was an ad in the RL that said the District need bus drivers; so let say a person on the board has a wife or brother that would like to be a bus driver. So does the board go without a bus driver? What if that person is an outstanding Math teacher, the district says no. Come on!!!! In our small community! Ignorant can you believe the Ear is saying this, look at some of the current board members. She does work for the state in the water area, soooooooo! Would you say a board member that crawls in the ditches with a camera; is smart.
quote: Does she have any special skills or abilities or training in education? What does Mr Hudson, McWilliams, Dahns and Rehkopf have in the education world. Yes they went to school, but no special skills, no training.
quote from the Ear: “McDowell just cannot handle questions from the citizens of Ellicott. When “Fed UP” asked a question that he posted on his blog; his response was to “identify” that person as “the Ear”; that is what he does when someone asks him a question or if someone has a different opinion. quote from FedUp: I have posted exactly one comment to the Ellicott Ear. Same as the one I posted to you: From the chef, guess someone besides FedUp used the FedUp title, was the Ear making up comments, was that the reason it was taken down within hours? A few days ago there was a comment that said it was from a person calling self “Fed Up”; but Fed Up states she did not post it on the other blog. But before anyone could question the post, the Ear deleted it. I’m trying to get a copy, the post call Mr Howarth names. Am sorry to “my” Fed up”.
To Fed Up: I will take a step back and say I jumped the gun, I have a short trigger when it comes to being miss-lead. All I can ask is that you continue to highlight your interest and the things I fail to highlight. My hope is to return the Potluck Diner back to the true reason it was created, Community Information. In Now I plan on changing horses.
quote: “But that other blogger just made fun of the warning and indicated that somehow the Ear was calling someone a snake. This is typical of the way he thinks. We think an apology is in order. No one was called a snake; it was a real warning about snakes.” If anyone believes this quote, I have some beach front property in Colorado I give you a great deal on. Plus the Ear goes back into his post and makes changes but fails to highlight the changes. So who knows. I was raised in rattlesnake country, a 5 foot rattler is a BIG snake.
quote: “Electing someone to the school board is about the future, not the past.” Then why is the Ear talking about Mrs Chambers husband.
quote: “Education today is about preparing the students to work in tomorrow’s global workplace.” Is the Ear talking about some other school board? He can’t be talking about D22’s board. Except for one it has been years since they were in school. Look at their degrees and work. The only way anyone could make this statement with D22’s board in mind is be related to them. Listen to the board recordings. The global workspace is a small piece of the adult world. The Ear must have copied this from some educational post. I’ll search.
quote: “The individuals that run for the school board need to have a vision of the future. They need to have a “desire” to make certain all students are ready for the life ahead of them.” Again I will repost some of the current board’s visions and desires. Count the number of times Mr Hudson, Mr McWilliams and Mr Rehkopf made any comments about the global workspace or visions of the future adults of Ellicott. Count them.
quote: “All too often those that run for the Ellicott school board have other reasons for trying to get on the school board. They want “to get even or punish” someone for something that was done or said years ago.” Is the Ear flip flopping or reading some of my past post. There are a least two maybe three board members that are on the board for just those reasons. Within days of being elected they collected of their promises. The recall effort for Mr Hudson was in some ways just because of his get even statement and actions. Others got even because of actions perceived toward them or family members. Where has the Ear been. Remove Ebert was this group’s campaign cry
quote from the Ear: They want to get even with some teacher or some principal; to make them “pay” for what they did or said. Isn’t that just what Mr Hudson, Mr McWilliams and M & G Dahns did? Superintendent, HS principal, coaches?

In general terms, IP (Internet Protocol) address is the set of numbers that enables a computer/devices to connect to each other using the internet. This number allows the location of literally billions of digital device to locate each other. It is like a mailing address for each of our computer.
An IP address consists of four numbers, each of which contains one to three digits, with a single dot (.) separating each number or set of digits. Each of the four numbers can range from 0 to 255. Here’s an example of what an IP address might look like: 18.104.22.168. Without this numeric protocol, sending and receiving data over the World Wide Web would be impossible.
IP addresses can be either static or dynamic. Static IP addresses never change. They serve as a permanent Internet address and provide a simple and reliable way for other computers to contact your’s. Static IP addresses reveal such information as the continent, country, region, and city in which a computer is located; the ISP (Internet Service Provider) that services that particular computer; and such technical information as the precise latitude and longitude of the country, as well as the locale, of the computer.
Many websites provide IP address look-up services to their visitors, free of charge. If you’re curious about your own IP address, you can locate these websites by performing a Google search. Here is a lookup service: http://www.ip-tracker.org
Most times you send an email or log on to a website your IP address can be seen. A number of providers allow you to set up you income mail; so you can see the incoming IP address of the sender.
On a provider like Elpasotel, there is a very very very slim chance that there are two TP addresses alike. If is happens there will be conflicts between the two machines. In fact there is 1 chance in 12 billion that there are two like addresses in the world. The internet runs a continual check to prevent dups, so two computer are not confused.
Here is my example: If you send me a comment on my blog by using the comment button it shows me your email address and your IP address. Then you send me a email to my email address using a different email sender name, I can ask my program to ID the sender, showing the IP address. So if the two different types of transaction were transmitted from the same computer, the IP address would be the same. This is the way security personnel track stuff back to the address it was sent from. WARNING: It is illegal, but there is software that will track the IP address right to the house.
So hope this provides the requested info.

To the many diners at the diner, I’m bigger than that. Thanks for hanging
“see I’m right; so there!” That isn’t at all what I’m saying; what I’m saying is “Ear is wrong”! I’m encouraging all to do some research before they believe anyone, knowledge is the key. The Ear continues to blame and slander any individual that has an opinion especially if they point out the lack of leadership that comes from this board and its president. The Chef continues to highlight failures and poor decisions made by this board.
I didn’t have to search the internet for articles, they come to the Diner. I highlight issues that this board failed to consider or think about. Just blind to everything, making a poor and incomplete decision. Here is what the Chef would have done, developed a process where the computers are left in the classroom. Developed a classroom/subject system. Protect the children. Why is there the real need for the children to take a system home, why an email system, could it be so the teachers don’t have to deal face to face with the children or parents? There is so many sides to IT in the classroom, an article I just read states that some medical studies shows that the waves released by the computer screens is 10X the amount as a cell tower. Another states that teachers unions are protecting teacher that are now using IT material instead of teaching. I’m not against IT, it has a place but this board did nothing but say yes to the administration, no research. Now I have written! What is the number of students have to do with IT in the classroom, the ear is searching for crap. Now the Ear is putting race and color into the mix. One of these days we will link these hateful statements to a face.
My effort is to remove poor leaders, to replace those that have poor character with those that have leadership skills, those that are truly examples of what we need managing our district. Honest individuals, individuals that we will be proud of.
Just what has the five current board member done for this community? Most have caused issues. Issue that will be addressed during the upcoming campaign and election.
quote, “short response to McDowell is “Who cares what you think”!
There are some, it will only take one more than the ones we seek to remove. Let’s wait until Nov. There is no one that “represents the community”, “there is no one that speaks for the community”, we are free High Plains men and women. Also how does the Ear know what is being contributed by others. Look at the old trailers as you enter “my” city, guess there are others that want at least two board members gone. 70 to 90 readers (daily) will gather together to form a tidal wave to put honesty and integrity back into this school board.
Are you asking me to run or telling me? As I have stated before announcing isn’t required until Aug. As of this post guess there is no one running. Again since the Ear/you want declare your name, it is difficult to believe anything post on the Ear’s blog. As hard as I want to believe that there is good in everyone, as to believing the Ear I can’t. Again this is a free county and as we campaign citizens will make their own decision as to which direction they want this district and our children to go.
Radical, been called many things but radical is a new one. Mr Ear someday the truth will be known.
PS Who are these SOS supporters? Could they be a figment of your dreams.
PSS A funny comment made yesterday, they believe that the ear is so much like Hillary C. that we should just call the ear Hillary. Can’t trust anything that leaks from the site. good point, now it is “Hillary the Ear”
