|Letter from the Chairman; I hope you are enjoying your summer. As we get through these last few weeks of August, and look forward to the seasons changing, I wanted to give you a quick update on the many things we at the state Party are doing to get ready for the 2016 election season. Our first priority now and always is preparing the state with an election winning strategy and process. Three things are happening with regards to that. The first is that the Colorado GOP and the Republican National Committee have staff on the ground registering voters. The second is that we are building superior data resources to understand where and with whom we need to spend our time and resources. Third, we are recruiting and training volunteers. We need to be precise and we need to execute our plan to win votes this year and next. One of the most exciting developments that has taken place this summer is the Republican Leadership Initiative. Starting in July, we had 24 active Republicans take part in a six-week fellowship. These participants worked closely with our staff on organization development and learned how to engage and register voters, hold house meetings, conduct workshops and use cutting-edge campaign technology. While the first class will soon be graduating, we are accepting applications and nominations for the fall session. Click HERE to apply or call 303-758-3333 with any questions. Please share this exciting opportunity with any Republicans you know who might be interested in pursuing a career in politics or becoming more engaged in their community. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has worked so hard this summer to help our Party. Over the last few weeks, members of my team and I have had the opportunity to meet Party leaders and activists across the state. We’ve visited Mesa, Denver, Pueblo, Delta, Montrose, Adams, Arapahoe, Larimer, Boulder, Routt (on Wednesday), Eagle, Elbert, Weld, Logan and Summit, and we will visit Ouray next week. Hardly a day went by when I didn’t meet our great volunteers registering and engaging voters, marching in parades, raising funds and helping local parties and candidates. When we win in 2016, it will be because of selfless grassroots leaders like these. If you would like to learn how you can become more involved in the Party, please do not hesitate to contact us at 303-758-3333 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
