Late last month Heritage Action celebrated a small but important victory when a bill to reauthorize No Child Left Behind was pulled from the House floor.
Lawmakers felt the pressure from Heritage Action and the conservative grassroots to put forward something better than an outdated Bush-era mandate. Many realized they had to go back to the drawing board to put the needs of America’s children at the center of the debate.
But some lawmakers want to bring No Child Left Behind back to the floor for a vote!
Our message remains clear: No Child Left Behind is outdated, ineffective and prioritizes government standards over the needs of individual students.
Help us continue the fight. We must STOP No Child Left Behind and urge lawmakers to pass a bold conservative plan for education.
