My vote for the open seat is Me (self-confident) if not me than Mrs Wilson, lets’ see if the board selects the best or is this a set up. Tomorrow night will tell. Isn’t everyone excited. Or could it end up as a draw, non-select; then the president gets to select whoever. There has been the act of redirection before, ex-high school principal comes to mind. Wouldn’t that be a hoot!
This is important: More information is provided to the EllicottEar and my dinners. Here is the regulations that apply to political signs. I’m now informing the Ear of the regulations, so now maybe the County Code Enforcement folks will locate you. Your signs are placed without permits and are illegal. You are now informed, now you can file for a permit. You should file for a right away permit.
Now to my dinners, I have seen these illegal signs on Peyton & Book, Peyton & Enoch ,Curtis & 94, 94 & Log, Ellicott rd. These will be reported. If you see others let me know, we cannot allow individuals to break the law without paying the price. As I hand out pamphlets tomorrow; I’ll dress up in hunting clothing, camera, remind you ‘all of someone. I’ll drive instead of crawling in the ditches. We are getting closer!!!!!!!!!!! All kidding aside the effort to vote down the Mill Levy is important, we must not stop getting out the word as to what a waste and a great example of mismanagement this effort is. I hope if we turn back this bad ballot issue the community will demand that this board refunds our money back, over $7000.00. If we are defeated then we were out-numbered , we will regroup and press-on, again if that happens. I want stop, so don’t you. Folks should be getting your ballots this week, mark them and mail them in. The county will begin releasing temp results within days. Remember call 10 friends or family members and TALK to them. This is one of the first steps toward showing we really care. Save our Schools and Ellicott’s Kids First.
