When I took office as a state senator, I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of Colorado. As a member of our military, I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States.
The defense of our state and nation’s Constitution is necessary for the defense of freedom that is provided by the rule of law, and is something I take very seriously.
Part of America’s greatness comes from our submission to law that transcends any one person or time, and the law should not be a hindrance to your pursuit of happiness. That is why, as state senator, I voted to pass a 10 million dollar tax cut. I believe that you should be free to decide how best to spend your money. And as governor, I will work hard to defend your freedom to make all the decisions about your life, including how you spend your own money.
If you agree with me that you should decide what to do with your money and not the liberals in Denver using your money for their social experiments, please consider contributing to my campaign. I will continue taking our message of freedom across our great state, but I can’t do it without your help!
The Colorado State Assembly is less than three weeks away, and delegates from all over the state will make choices about who they want to see on the ballot.
